Plus, the manager wasn't very understanding when I tried to explain my situation.

Comfortable beds but noisy nights

We stayed for a night and the bed was super comfy. There was a nice recliner in the room. However, the walls are thin, so we heard every door slam and loud chat outside. The bathroom was a bit of a disaster with paint drips all over the bathtub, though breakfast had a waffle maker, which was a win!

The room had a cozy bed, but it was old and had an unpleasant odor.

Family with kids deserve better

The staff was really accommodating at check-in, even helped us with our bags. There were plenty of green areas for the kids to play with their pets, kept them happy while we settled in.

I loved the relaxing pool area. it was peaceful, and my kids enjoyed playing there. The grab-and-go breakfast had plenty of options, including juices and muffins, which made mornings easy. However, I found a few opened candy wrappers in the bedside table, which raised concerns about cleanliness. Also, the microwave in our room didn’t work, limiting our dining options a bit.

Our double room on the top floor provided a peaceful retreat for our family, with clean towels and linens enhancing the comfort. The pool area was an enjoyable escape with a relaxing environment that my kids appreciated.

The breakfast options were overwhelmingly carbohydrate-heavy, with limited variety that left many guests unsatisfied. One morning, the coffee pot was empty, and waiting for a refill turned into an unnecessary hassle. In high humidity, the AC being unplugged upon arrival contributed to a musty smell, and upon using the bathtub, I discovered it had residual scum that required scrubbing before I could use it. Overall, the place feels in need of serious updates and better management.

Had a great time with friends on our vacation! The location was awesome for visiting the nearby Santa Fe College and Meadowbrook Golf Club. Loved the hiking trails around too. Rooms were clean and comfortable, making our stay enjoyable. Definitely recommend this spot for a fun trip with friends.

However, the breakfast experience could be improved. One of my friends felt uncomfortable when approached by staff for having dogs in the food area. It disrupted his morning, and I think some staff training in customer service would help.
